Joseph Jakubowski apprehended with five of the 16 stolen guns

The hunt for a wanted Janesville man who law enforcement feared was planning an act of violence ends peacefully.
FBI Special Special Agent in Charge Justin Tolomeo says Jakubowski was taken into custody without incident just before 6:00 Friday morning on a rural private property off of County Road U near the Vernon Richland County line.  He had in his possession five of the 16 stolen guns, a samurai-style sword, a bullet proof helmet and vest, a copy of his manifesto, and some flammable liquids.
Authorities say their still trying to figure out how Jakubowski got to Vernon County after setting his car on fire last Tuesday in Janesville.
He faces charges in Rock County related to the gun store burglary last week, as well as possible federal weapons charges.
