The City of Janesville wants to be sure its volunteers know they’re appreciated. Management Information Intern Rachel Nabors says the city’s 600 volunteers have been invited to a special recognition. Nabors says city volunteers serve in many important roles including committee members, poll workers, and recreational programs. As part of National volunteer Appreciation Week, Nabors says a celebration for the volunteers is planned for Thursday afternoon starting at 4:00 at the Central Fire Station.
