Beloit man faces child pornography charges

A 47-year-old Beloit man is facing drug and child pornography possession charges after police say they found materials while responding to a heroin overdose at his home.  The criminal complaint filed in Rock County Court indicates heroin-related drug paraphernalia was found in James M. Coke’s home on March 9th.  The complaint goes on to say Coke told officers he rents rooms in his house to several people, and some of them are drug uses.  Officers say they also found six images of child pornography on Coke’s phone.  Coke is already awaiting trial on charges related to two runaway teen girls he’s accused of taking to northern Wisconsin in 2015.
