Two arrested in connection with armed robberies in Beloit and Janesville

Two people are under arrest in connection with three armed robberies Monday in Janesville and Beloit.
The first call came in just after midnight at the Speedway Gas station on Milwaukee Road in Beloit.
Beloit Police say say two men with a knife entered the convenience store and demanded cash and cigarettes.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says the second call came in just before 3:45 Monday morning at the Lyons Quick Mark on the 1600 block of West Highway 14 in Janesville.
Similar to the Speedway robbery, two suspects demanded cigarettes and cash.
The final incident happened at 10:15 Monday morning at the Walgreens on Madison Road in Beloit. One of the two suspects entered the store, displayed a knife, and made off with some cash.
Beloit Police say 34-year-old Ray D. Trickie of Beloit and 30-year-old Thomas J. McKee of Janesville have been taken into custody in connection with all three incidents.
