A 31-year-old Michigan man is under arrest for traveling to Janesville to have sex with a 16-year-old girl.
Janesville Police say officers were dispatched to the Ramada Inn on Milton Avenue just before 9:00 Monday night on the report of suspicious activity. It was reported that an adult male was staying in a room with what appeared to be a juvenile female.
Officers made contact with Bryan S. Kind of Gladwin, Michigan at the hotel, and with the juvenile at another location.
Investigators say Kind had been communicating with the girl for about a year using various messaging apps and that he had traveled to Rock County on several occasions to meet with the victim at hotels where the two engaged in sexual activity.
Kind was taken into custody on suspicion of sex with a child, child enticement, and possession of child pornography.
