The School District of Janesville pulls out of a deal to help develop a school in the United Arab Emerates.
Superintendent Karen Schulte says the contract was only finalized last summer.
Schulte says in total the district spent about $10,000 on the partnership with Abu Dhabi, with the money coming out of International Education Program revenue.
The Board of Education voted unanimously to dissolve the contract Tuesday evening.
