The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office identifies the weekend murder victim at 28-year-old Eddie Lee Jones of Markham, Illinois. Janesville police are looking for more witnesses to come forward in a shooting death early Sunday morning at 116 South Franklin Street. Police Chief David Moore was obviously pleased, during a Monday news conference, with the speedy arrest of 32-year-old Barquis D. Odom on homicide charges. This is Janesville’s first murder in three years.
