Contractors are working all over the City of Janesville performing utility improvements ahead of street resurfacing projects planned for later this year.
As a result, the City’s Engineering Division is warning motorists of several road closures that begin at 8:00 Monday morning.
Through Friday, June 23rd North Locust Street from West Milwaukee Street to Centerway Avenue will be closed to through traffic.
Until this Wednesday South Willard Avenue will close between State and Nicolet Streets. This closure will affect the Southwest Special Janesville Transit System bus route.
Finally, until Friday, June 30th, East Wall Street will close between Parker Place and North Atwood Avenue.
