It may have taken awhile, but United Way Blackhawk Region President Mary Fanning-Penny tells Your Talk Show on WLCO the annual fund drive has reached its $2.4 million goal. Fanning-Penny says hopefully it indicates a turn-around for the campaign to grow even more. The 2016 goal was close to $400,000 less than the goal of $2.8 million in 2015.
