The Beloit Police Department is re-filling its ranks. Three new officers will be given their badges during a pinning ceremony Thursday night in the city hall forum at 6:00 o’clock. The newest officers to join the ranks are all Blackhawk Technical College police academy graduates and include Mathew Bouril, Martin Delgado, and Darryl Thornton. These latest additions will bring the department up to 70, of the 73 sworn officers approved in the city budget.
