The Janesville City Council works to make sure their hands aren’t tied if a proposal comes forward that doesn’t fit into the Comprehensive Plan approved eight years ago.
Within the last year, staff has engaged in discussions with a number of property owners and prospective developers regarding instances where the Plan’s Future Land Use map may not fully reflect market conditions.
The Janesville City Council will consider adopting a resolution adopting a process for amendments to the plan when they meet Monday evening at City Hall.
