Beloit man accused of shooting Illinois man to death in Janesville appears in court

The 32-year-old Beloit man accused of shooting an Illinois man to death outside a Janesville residence on May 28th is ordered bound over for trial.
At Barquis McKnight’s preliminary hearing Friday afternoon in Rock County Court, Janesville Police Detective Steven Williams testified that there was an eye witness to the shooting.
McKnight is accused of shooting Eddie Jones outside of a home on the 100 block of South Franklin Street.
He is charged with first degree intentional homicide and possession of a firearm by a felon.
McKnight is due back in court for his arraignment Monday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
