Evansville Night Out will take place Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Lake Leota Park in Evansville, with a pool party afterwards from 8-10 p.m. This
event is a coordinated effort by BASE, Evansville EMS, Evansville Police and Evansville Fire. The purpose of this event is twofold; to provide an inexpensive, safe,
alcohol free event for families and to showcase the Public Safety Agencies in Evansville.
The event will include demonstrations by all of our local Public Safety agencies, including a vehicle extraction by our Fire Department. The Evansville Police Department will we hosting Cops and Bobber where kids can fish with the police and the first 25 kids get a free t-shirt! There will be two helicopters landing this year, Mercy REACT will be landing at 5:30 and Med Flight at 6:30. There will be bouncy houses, free raffle items, Haven’s Petting Zoo will be there with their animals, Annie Larson will have kayaks and safety gear for kayaking on Lake Leota and much much more!
There will be a free meal for families provided by Kopecky’s Piggly Wiggly and Rose Mikkel Nich Mini Doughnuts will be attending again with free mini donuts. There will be activities available for adults and youth of all ages. Stop by the BASE booth during the event to get your free pass for the pool party afterwards which will include a DJ, games and prizes!
