A 55-year-old Milton man is facing an 8th Operating While Intoxicated charge after being arrested over the weekend. Janesville police say Daniel J. Rivers was arrested about 6:30 Sunday night after a chase. Officers say they first responded to a report of a tan suburban driving into oncoming traffic on Milton Avenue. Officers caught up with the suspect on West Court Street, but say Rivers didn’t stop and headed out of town on Highway 11 at speeds up to 60-miles-per-hour. Rivers was arrested west of County Road H. He was also arrested on charges including Failing to Stop for an Officer, operating without Insurance, and Operating without a valid license.
