(Gazette photo) One of Janesville’s longest-running industries, operating since 1902, has been sold. Hufcor has been acquired by Los Angeles-based private equity firm OpenGate Capital. Hufcor is the industry’s leader in producing movable wall partitions for commercial and government buildings The company has operations in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. 275 workers are employed in Janesville and 800 worldwide.
