Clinton police are sounding the alarm about a fake cop. Police Chief Dave Hooker says a motorist Tuesday reported being pulled over by an unmarked vehicle while headed west bound out of town on County Highway X-Milwaukee Street. The driver says the suspect vehicle was a dark blue Ford Crown Victoria with police lights in the grill on and the dash. The phony officer was a shorter white male with a scruffy appearance wearing a navy blue baseball style cap and blue police style uniform. Hooker says this person should be considered armed and dangerous, and advises calling 911 and waiting for a marked squad to arrive if you suspect this imposter is attempting to pull you over.
