VIDEO: Beloit police seek hit and run driver

Beloit police are looking for the public's help in finding a hit and run driver.  Officers say the driver of a blue car hit a child on a bicycle in the crosswalk at Madison Road and McKinely Avenue at 7:54 a.m. Tuesday morning.  Police have posted surveillance video from a nearby laundromat on their Facebook page.  The child was treated and released for minor injuires.

This morning at 7:54am a blue colored vehicle driven by a white female hit a child on a bicycle. This occurred at Madison and McKinley. The suspect vehicle did not stop. Fortunately several good citizens stopped to check on the child and call 911. The child was fortunate and was treated and released with minor injuries. We are asking for the community to help in identifying the driver and vehicle involved in this accident.
