Another Rock County resident has become infected with a diarrhea-causing bacteria linked to a pet store chain with a location in Janesville.
Assistant Director of the Rock County Public Health Department David Pluymers says of the 67 people who have become sick with campylobacter bacteria nation-wide, two are in Wisconsin, and both are from Rock County.
Pluymers says the condition is a gastrointestinal diseases which causes diarrhea.
The Centers for Disease Control says 93 percent of those who have become ill had a link to puppies at or from a Petland Store.
