Janesville firefighters are investigating the cause of a small fire in a northside factory. Firefighters were called to Impact Confections on Whitney Street a little after 11:00 o’clock Wednesday morning. Officials say smoke and flames were visible. The fire department says the fire originated in an electrical room and caused minimal damage. Production was temporarily halted. Firefighters were on the scene for about an hour. No one was hurt.
