A 21-year-old Beloit man is facing life threatening injuries, and a 2nd Offense Operating While Intoxicated charge following a two-vehicle traffic crash in Green County. The sheriff’s office reports Colton P. Van Marter was traveling south on County T and failed to stop at the stop sign on Highway 81 in the Town of Spring Grove. Deputies say a vehicle driven by a 52-year-old from Beloit broad-sided Van Marter’s vehicle. Investigators say Van Marter was not wearing a seatbelt and was med-flighted to U-W Hospital in Madison. Smith suffered non-life threatening injuries.
