The annual Chocolate Extravaganza will be held on Saturday, February 10th at Creekside Place in Evansville, WI. Plan to arrive at 6:30 pm and enjoy live music and dancing to “Madison’s favorite band” Universal Sound. Tickets are $15 and include an array of homemade chocolates, fruit, cheese, and a glass of wine, beer or soda. This annual fundraiser includes a raffle for a “Get Away to Romance” weekend at the Country House Resort in Sister Bay, Door County! An array of silent auction items donated by area merchants and creative craftsmen will also be part of the event.
The “Get Away to Romance” raffle tickets ($10 each or 3/$25) can be purchased at the event and you do not have to be present to win. The package includes a two night stay in luxury suite with a whirlpool/fireplace, a $50 restaurant certificate to either of two local fine restaurants, a massage for two and more.
The Evansville Fund is a permanent charitable endowment and part of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin. Together with the Evansville Family of Funds it was able to grant over $20,000 in 2017 to fourteen very worthwhile non-profit community and school projects. Over the course of its history of grant awarding it has given over $120,000.
