Three young men are under arrest is connection with a shooting Monday night on Janesville’s near southwest side.
Janesville Police say 21-year-old Damien L. Buchanan of Beloit, 18-year-old Hunter Jass of Janesville and 17-year-old Kobe L. Wethal of Janesville went to a residence on the 300 block of South Academy Street around 7:30 Monday night and that Jass brought along two handguns.
After a drug related disturbance took place inside the residence, the three exited and police say Buchanan fired seven shots at the home.
No one was injured in the shooting and police say they’ve recovered a .40 caliber handgun.
Buchanan was placed under arrest on suspicion of endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon, Jass was arrested for party to the crime of endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon, and Wethal was taken into custody on a probation violation.
