Janesville police are investigating a shooting and robbery that left one Janesville man hospitalized. Police responded to a report of a man who had been shot a little before 9:00 o'clock Monday night outside a multi-unit apartment complex at 1210 Kellogg Avenue. Upon arrival they found the 24-year-old Janesville man shot in the torso and head by an “undetermined type of handgun,” said Lt. Charles Aagaard. He was listed in fair condition at Mercy Hospital. Aagaard says a second 24-year-old man was robbed but uninjured. The robber fled on foot, got into a car and drove west. He is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-11 to 6-feet tall, with an average build and wearing a dark zip-up hoodie with light blue lettering on the front, dark jeans and a dark mask over his face.
