Beloit Police Department conducts alcohol compliance checks

The City of Beloit Police Department is pleased to report that officers found zero violations when it conducted alcohol compliance checks in collaboration with Youth 2 Youth 4 Change.
Twenty-six businesses were checked in the City of Beloit on Wednesday, May 2. During the checks, none of the businesses sold alcohol to underage individuals attempting to purchase beer.
“The City of Beloit Police Department and Youth 2 Youth 4 Change thank these businesses for their vigilance in checking for identification to prevent selling beer to underage purchasers,” said Lt. Andre Sayles. “This vigilance is especially appreciated as we encourage responsible behavior for prom this weekend.”
