The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal head-on traffic crash. Deputies say a car headed south on highway 12-67 Tuesday afternoon about 4:30, crossed the center line into oncoming traffic. The driver, 67-year-old Dennis Hinze, and his passenger, 60-year-old Joy Hinze, both of Elkhorn, were killed. The 40-year-old driver in the other car, and 15-year-old passenger, were seriously injured and transferred via flight for life to an area trauma center.
