One woman is dead and another man and woman injured following a crash early Sunday morning on the Interstate near Janesville. A State Patrol news release indicates the victim was a 27-year-old passenger. The crash happened at about 4:30 a-m on the northbound lanes south of the Highway 11 exit. The State patrol says a car rear ended an SUV. One or both of the vehicles hit the median wall and stopped in the right lane of traffic. Then another vehicle and “a semi” hit the vehicles. The three people inside the first car to crash were transported to a hospital, where a woman died shortly after arrival.
