The Milton Area Chamber of Commerce is putting out a warning after some counterfeit $100 bills were found in a local bank deposit last week.
The bills look real, even appearing to contain a holographic strip however they have pink Chinese symbols stamped on the front and back.
Similar news reports across the country indicate the bills are actually novelty items sold overseas, mostly in Japan and China.
Any area businesses that receive the fake bills are asked to contact Milton Police.
