Rock County won’t be the only county in Wisconsin getting a new sheriff after the November elections. Sheriff Robert Spoden says he’s among 28 across the state planning to retire. He says the new wave of sheriff’s will be part of a new generation. He says they’ll likely bring a different set of experiences and usher in fresh ideas. He expects that’ll be good for the state overall.
