A 29-year-old Janesville woman, accused of running down a co-worker with her car, makes a plea deal with prosecutors and waves her right to a jury trial before Rock County Judge John Wood. A criminal complaint indicates Arielle L. Landing made a U-turn outside Impact Confections on Whitney Street last October and veered to hit a 27-year-old woman, who bounced up onto the hood, fell back down, and was dragged a few feet. The vehicle then sped off, and the victim suffered a collapsed lung, multiple fractures to her ribs, pelvis, scapula and humerus. Landing faces charges including first degree reckless injury by use of a dangerous weapon. Police at the time say both women had been romantically involved with the same guy. A plea hearing is set for October 8th.
