An indoor tennis complex may be coming to Milton.
The city council approved a one-dollar offer for a purchase of land by Midwest Tennis Center along Highway 59 just east of the city
Owner Paul Lauterbach says the $5 million, 54,000 square-foot facility will have six indoor courts, and UW-Whitewater as a client.
Lauterbach plans to begin building next fall, dependent on a successful TIF Development Agreement with the city.
UW-Whitewater Tennis Director Frank Barns said they’d also like to host a mid-west tennis academy at the facility.
