Michigan man takes plea deal in child sex case

A 33-year-old Michigan man who’s accused of driving to Janesville to have sex with a teen girl takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.
Prosecutor Rich Sullivan presented the agreement for Bryan S. Kind to Judge Michael Haakensen Monday morning.
As part of the deal Kind plead guilty to three counts of possession of child pornography.
Charges that were dismissed but read in included one count of second degree sexual assault of a child and three counts of sex with a child age 16 or over.
The prosecution and the defense have agreed to argue for no more than four years in prison and six years of extended supervision at sentencing on June 10th.
Kind was busted at the Ramada Inn in Janesville in May of 2017 after an employee alerted his suspicious behavior with a high school girl to police.
