Beloit homicide suspect takes plea deal

A 73-year-old Beloit man accused of stabbing another man to death and throwing him down a fire escape in 2015 takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.
Percy L. Oliver was originally charged with first degree intentional homicide in connection with the death of 51-year-old David Banks of Beloit.
Banks body was found in June of 2015 in a parking lot on the 500 block of East Grand Avenue.
Last week Oliver plead no contest to a reduced charge of second degree reckless homicide by use of a a dangerous weapon.
He faces more than three decades behind bars at sentencing on August 15th.
