A 22-year-old Milton man pleads guilty in connection with a crash that killed a passenger in his vehicle last spring.
Skylair Buckham left the scene of the crash near Brodhead, in which 19 year-old Lukas Christofferson was killed.
Buckham was found by police the morning after, and admitted to using drugs before the crash.
As part of a plea deal Buckham plead guilty Tuesday to homicide by vehicle use with a controlled substance and hit and run involving death. A charge of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle was dismissed but read in.
Sentencing is sent for August 8th.
