Beloit men charged in strong arm robbery

scales-of-justice-2

Two Beloit men are accused of strong arming a victim out their wallet after the 4th of July fireworks.
30-year-old Darrell Denard Princeton Homes is charged in Rock county court with robbery by use of force. His accused accomplice, 41-year-old Marcus Terrell McNuckle is charged with robbery by use of force, discharging bodily fluids at an officer, and resisting arrest.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim and Holmes had met a few days prior to July 4th and that after seeing each other at the fireworks in Riverside Park, the two hung out and shared some beers.
The victim told police, the two walked to a home on the 900 block of West Grand Avenue where McKnuckle came out. At that point Holmes and McKnuckle are accused of overtaking the victim and stealing his wallet containing a debit card, cash, and his house keys.
Beloit Police located the two suspects a short time later and attempted to arrest them. The criminal complaint indicates that McKnuckle resisted, broke free of his handcuffs, and spit at an officer who was transporting him.
