Few better classrooms than the real world, and that’s just what a new “Innovation through Business Immersion” program at Craig High School in Janesville is working to achieve. Craig High School Assistant Principal Shawn Kane says “Elevate” matches upper level students with local businesses and mentors. One goal is to show the students real-life pathways to professions. Another goal is to give students real-world experiences by allowing them to participate in the process of businesses facing day to day issues. Kane says the program has been in development for two years. Craig High School is hosting a “meet and greet” with business partners and mentors Tuesday morning.
