Police in Janesville and Milton are investigating two armed robberies that they think are related.
The first incident occurred around 9:22 Wednesday night at Casey’s General Store in Milton. The clerk told police that a white male suspect entered the store, showed a gun, and demanded cash.
A little over two and a half hours later at 11:57 Wednesday night the clerk at Stop-N-Go on East Milwaukee Street in Janesville reported a similar armed robbery.
A white man in his 30’s wearing blue jeans, a grey t-shirt, and black shoes displayed a handgun and left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police believe the two incidents are related.
