The Wisconsin Realtors Association reports the median sales price of an existing home has hit $170-thousand in Rock County. Rock-Green Realtors Association President Colleen Nelson says a lack of inventory is driving the record high sales prices. Nelson says not enough homes are on the market, and buyers are willing to pay just about anything. She adds interest rates are also extremely low and buyers want to capitalize on that. Nelson says the sales price may have broken a record in January, but the number of sales were down 10% from a year ago.
