The stretch of Cranston Road between Shopiere Road and Milwaukee Road in Beloit is set to get a makeover later this year.
The city’s engineering division is holding a public meeting Tuesday night at 5:00 to share updated plans for the project.
Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Millard said the focus is on repainting the roads for safety improvements, and it won’t be a full reconstruction project.
Police have also been stepping up speed enforcement along the corridor.
The city previously conducted a traffic impact study and held earlier meetings to take in public feedback on the project.
Millard said Tuesday night’s meeting will include a presentation on their final plans for Cranston Road, which they hope to start during the summer and finish by the end of fall.
