A webpage about opioid misuse and abuse could save lives in Rock County. Health Department Epidemiologist Nick Zupan says opioids are the primary cause of a rising number of overdose deaths over the last several years. He says a new webpage on their site offers an interactive data dashboard on current opioid trends and treatment resources for sufferers. Zupan says the webpage is intended to better inform the public and raise awareness about opioid misuse for local residents. The health department was able to develop the resource thanks to funding form the state.
