The latest Wisconsin Realtors Association numbers indicate a statewide home sales record over the winter months. In Rock County, the number of homes sales may have been a bit sluggish, but the median sales price climbed 15% to $170 thousand for the year-to-date, compared to last year. In Green county, the number of sales slipped almost 30%, while the median sales price dipped close to 10%, landing at less than $160 thousand for the same period. Rock-Green Realtors Association President Colleen Nelson says low sales inventories are fueling the overall sales price trend, but that could all change in March as many prospective buyers have canceled their showings because of concerns over the coronavirus.
