Chicago man takes plea deal in connection with Beloit shooting

A young man from Chicago charged in connection with an armed robbery, attempted armed robbery, a shooting, and a home invasion takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.
18-year-old Keshawn Falls appeared before Judge Barbara McCrory Thursday morning where he plead guilty to party to the crime of armed robbery, party to the crime of burglary while armed with a dangerous weapon, and taking and driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent.
As part of a the plea agreement an additional charge of 1st degree recklessly endangering safety was dismissed. McCrory also dismissed all four of the charges Falls faced in another case including 1st degree reckless injury, armed robbery, burglary with a dangerous weapon, and party to the crime of 1st degree recklessly endangering safety with use of a dangerous weapon.
Falls and another man are accused of firing shots during a Beloit home invasion, which lead to a seriously injured victim.
Falls is scheduled to be sentenced June 19th.
