A gun stolen in a town of Newark burglary is used in the accidental shooting that killed a juvenile.
17-year-old Kaizyn A. Morga of Beloit is charged with four counts of concealing a stolen firearm, concealing stolen property, and possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18.
According to the criminal complaint on December 18th Rock County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a burglary on the 9600 block of West County Trunk H where 17 guns, a television, and a crossbow were stolen.
On January 4th Beloit police spoke with a male who claimed that Morga and another juvenile stole the guns and that they were currently hidden in Morga’s garage.
The male went on to tell police that one of the guns had been used in the accidental shooting that killed the juvenile suspected of stealing the guns with Morga.
The next day officer’s searched Morga’s garage with his mother’s permission and found most of the guns.
If convicted on all counts Morga faces more than 25 years in prison.
