The Ho-Chunk Nation’s plans to build a casino in Beloit meet with the approval of a local legislator. Amy Loudenbeck of Clinton expects the complex will be an economic benefit for the entire region. Loudenbeck also predicts visitors will find other things to enjoy and return to the area. The Republican has been a long time advocate for the project, expressing her support to Governor Tony Evers, who will now have the last say on the project after the Bureau of Indian Affairs approval last week.
