A local legislator is running for re-election. Don Vruwink of Milton says he’s learned a lot during his first two terms and has unfinished business in the Assembly. The Democrat says he’s written a lot of bills with bipartisan support, but with such a short session, he simply ran out of time. He says all the bills he wrote were requested by constituents and he’d like to see them through. Vruwink faces competition for the 43rd Assembly District from Beth Drew of Milton who’s announced her candidacy as a Republican.
