A major fundraiser in Janesville is still being planned for this Sunday, but instead of scores of participants embarking from Cargill United Methodist Church, they’re being asked to take part “virtually”. Janesville Area Crop Walk organizer Kathy Holcombe says people can walk wherever they feel like, even if it’s in their own homes. Holcombe says what’s important is raising money for Church World Service and ECHO. She says teams have been signing up on-line and she encourages anyone interest in checking out their Facebook page. She’s hoping the increased need this year will help top the more than $50 thousand donated last year.
