Rock County officials are working to reopen the courtroom to live and in-person hearings. County Chief Judge Dan Dillon warned a special task force this week challenges lay ahead. Some considerations include possible health screenings before entering the courthouse, social distance limitations in the courtroom, any mask requirements, disinfectant wipe downs between sessions, and the potential reluctance of witnesses to appear for fear of contracting the virus. The task force plans to meet again next Monday. No deadline has been set for reopening the courts.
