A home on Willard Avenue in Janesville is damaged by fire. Officials say the occupants escaped, but one person was injured, by the fire in the 1500 block just before midnight Friday. Firefighters say damage was kept to one bedroom, but heat and smoke damage spread throughout the house. The Milton Fire Department assisted. Damage estimates approach $80-thousand. The Red Cross is assisting the six residents displaced by the fire. The investigation is still ongoing.
