Local farmers and families in need benefit from a Milton FFA effort to distribute milk and cereal. FFA members, along with some help from the 4H, distributed a total of 240 gallons of milk and 240 boxes of cereal Thursday. Volunteers partnered with the school district’s nutrition team to coordinate the distribution. With a grant from the Wisconsin FFA, the local Milton chapter worked with Cowley’s Piggly Wiggly of Milton to purchase the cereal, and milk from local farmers. Milton High School F-F-A advisor Stacy Skemp says the group was excited for the program to roll out.
