Diane Hendricks among 4 resignations from Beloit College Board of Trustees

Beloit College’s Board of Trustees loses four prominent members.
The school confirmed that Diane Hendricks, Jim Packard, Chuck McQuaid and Jim Sanger all stepped down from the board.
In a statement, interim chief communications officer Elizabeth Conlisk thanked them for their service on the board and said the four “will be active in supporting” a strong relationship between the college and the City of Beloit.
Hendricks was one of the key donors in Beloit College’s $38 million Powerhouse student union project, and the school named its Center for the Sciences after Sanger.
Beloit College has been navigating declining enrollment in the lead up to the COVID-19 pandemic, facing significant financial shortfalls on campus.
The board of trustees has 21 remaining members plus two lifetime members, and Conlisk said the school is already building a list of candidates to replace the four departures.
