Local legislator wins sixth term

A local legislator is headed back to the State Assembly for a sixth term. 31st Assembly District Incumbent Amy Loudenbeck of Clinton easily fends off a challenge from newcomer Elizabeth Lochner-Abel of Walworth. Despite the obvious distraction of COVID-19, the Republican says issues on the campaign trail remain fairly constant. She says priorities for this term include supporting public defenders, EMS, and adding to previous work on tele-health. Loudenbeck easily won reelection by a two-to-one margin.
